The Amarillo Area Foundation Nonprofit Service Center presents the
“Nonprofit Leadership Academy (Cohort A)”
A series of eight classes designed to prepare YOU for nonprofit or civic board service!
Join us the third Wednesday of the month, January through August 2020, and learn from experts in our nonprofit community. Gain the knowledge you need to be a productive and effective nonprofit Board Member. Meetings will take place in our conference center at 801 S. Fillmore, Seventh Floor, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm and will include lunch.

At the conclusion of the training, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion and enjoy a Graduation Celebration with the opportunity to connect with nonprofit leaders who are committed to diversifying their boards.
Registration fee for all eight sessions is $125.00 per person and includes all materials and lunches. A limited number of partial scholarships are available.
The goal of the Nonprofit Leadership Academy (Cohort A) is to reach out to under-represented sections of our community and prepare individuals to serve on nonprofit or civic boards. We are specifically seeking young community members, community members of color, and those who do not have board experience.
Please note: If you feel you do not meet the above eligibility requirements but are still interested in the leadership training please consider enrollment in the Nonprofit Leadership Academy (Cohort B) which will start in April 2020.
