Raymond Gaitan

Raymond Gaitan is a native of Hereford, TX, Class of 1981. Raymond is the General Manager of Amigos United and has worked at United Supermarkets since 2002. “The grocery business has been my passion for 35 years. I love serving the public.”Raymond is the father of four sons and has two grandchildren.

Gilbert Gutierrez

Gilbert Gutierrez, a native of Plainview, Texas. Gilbert is a Business Systems Analyst at Bell Helicopter. He Joined the Bell Helicopter team in 2000 and has been in Manufacturing Engineering over 18 years. Gilbert joined the AHCC Board in 2007 and has served on the Executive Committee since 2008 and has held the Vice Chairman and Chairman positions. He is married to Stephanie and has 2 Daughters, Lia and Kamrin and a son, Aiden.

Charlie Sanchez

Charlie Sanchez is a lifelong resident of Amarillo, TX. He is currently the Manager of Safety for the City of Amarillo. Safety Certification in CHST-Construction Safety Health Technician/Lector at St. Mary’s Cathedral/United Way Leadership/Past Chairman of Center City Block Party. His hobbies include golf and gourmet cooking.

Esgar Acosta

Esgar Acosta has been in the banking industry for over 9 years in. He is currently employed at Amarillo National Bank as a Consumer Lender. He was a loan officer in Colorado from 2006 through 2013. In 2013 he moved to Amarillo, TX and worked in the Amarillo and Lubbock area. He has performed many types of lending, for example commercial, consumer, construction and mortgages on the financial side. Esgar has been on the board of Eagle Chamber of Commerce, was the president of Eagle County Crime Stoppers, The Literacy Project Board and The Eagle Valley Rod and Gun Club of Gypsum, Colorado. He enjoys hunting, cooking, sports and most importantly spending time with his family.

Helen Rodriguez-Burton

Helen Burton is a District Sales Manager for Colonial Life since 2005. Helen has maintained one of the top sales districts for the Southwest Region. Helen currently serves on the following: Executive Board of Directors for the Amarillo Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, The Bridge, Colonial Hispanic Advisory Committee. Helen has served on the Board of Directors for NAIFA, NAHU, Leadership Amarillo and Canyon. Her community involvement includes: Los Barrios de Amarillo, Rotary, BNI-Top of Texas, Soroptimist International and others. Helen has been a member of Grace Calvary for over ten years. She is involved in Women’s Ministry and traveled with the team to Nairobi Kenya for a month long mission trip in 2013. She enjoys oil painting, reading, scrapbooking, and anything that allows her to be creative. Helen has one daughter, one granddaughter, and resides in Amarillo with her husband, Ray Burton.

Brady Christian

Brady Christian is a native of Amarillo, Texas. He is currently the Marketing Manager for AllStar Business Concepts and has been with them since moving back from Oklahoma five years ago. Brady is a reserve volunteer with the American Red Cross and serves with HardCORE Motorcycle Ministry. Brady is father of two great girls and has one beautiful granddaughter.

Betty Bara

Betty and her husband, Roy, have owned and operated La Fiesta for 32 years and they have 3 wonderful children and 4 amazing grandchildren. They have lived in Amarillo since 1983. Betty has served on many boards in the Amarillo area. Betty Bara has served on Amarillo Independent School District’s Citizens Facilities Committee, the Girl Scouts Five Star Council, and is involved with many more community organizations. Education and Community are important to Betty.

Darlene Saldivar

Darlene Saldivar is an Amarillo native and has been an employee of Pantex for 27 years where she currently is a Department Manager in the Supply Chain Management organization. She has served on the AHCC board for 8 years representing Pantex and received the 2013 AHCC Board Member of the Year Award. She has been involved in the community including Evelyn Rivers Christmas Project, High Plains Food Bank, BATCH (Boxers Allied to Combat Hunger) and various Pantex volunteer opportunities. She is married to her husband, Ernesto, and has three sons Alex-23, Fabian-17, and Gabriel -14 who are all also active in the community.

Diana Avila

Diana Avila is a native from Hereford, Texas. She graduated from Wayland Baptist University with her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. She is employed at Northwest Texas Healthcare System since 1998 and is currently the Provider Relations Representative for the hospital’s PPO network and works with providers, employer groups, and payers. She is married to Alvaro and they have two children, Christian and Lauren.

Jeremy Herrera

Jeremy Herrera is from Hobbs, New Mexico. He graduated from WTAMU with his bachelor’s degree in ’05 and Masters in ’08. He has been employed with Reed Beverage “Coors “ since January of 2011 and currently holds the position of Key Account Executive. He has been serving on the AHCC board since 2011 and also severs on many boards to help many local agencies. I take pride in serving to help promote education, help new or old business grow and serving my community.

Manuel Tover

Manuel Tovar is the Director of Ethnic Marketing at Affiliated Foods Inc., with responsibilities for marketing programs, brand management and corporate sponsorships. Prior to Joining Affiliated Foods, he worked in strategic business development and marketing at several companies and served in different staff positions. .Notable is his 11 years with HEB Supermarkets and his 5 years as Localized Manager. Manuel’s greatest strength is his creativity, drive and leadership. His most recent project involved a strategic program to increase the international product lines offered at Affiliated Foods.
Manuel is past a Board Member of Big Brothers Big Sisters in S.A. He has also been involved with United Way, YMCA, Church Organizations and many volunteer programs.

Paul Reynozo

Paul Reynozo has worked for Atmos Energy Corporation for 36 years; the last 19 have been in various managerial roles. He was born and raised in Amarillo, TX and graduated from Caprock High School. He also graduated from Amarillo College and Wayland Baptist University in Lubbock with his major in Business Administration. Paul has served in various boards over the years including the Plainview Chamber of Commerce, Plainview Industrial Foundation Board, Odessa Chamber of Commerce and Permian Basin Workforce Development Board. He is married to Mary and has been together for 26 years.

Donald Ellis

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Smith is the CEO of Firstbank Southwest. He has been a community leader involved with many local and nationwide organizations. Smith is a board member of the United Way of Amarillo/Canyon and is a member of the Governing Board. He has served as the Treasurer for the Harrington Cancer & Health Foundation and Finance Committee Chair for the Amarillo Hospital District Board of Managers. He has also served on the Amarillo Hispanic Chamber Advisory Board.

Steve Melendez

A native from Dalhart, Texas, Steve moved to Amarillo in 1984. Steve is a 26 year veteran at Budweiser and is the A.M. Shift Supervisor in the warehouse. Steve has helped with the Evelyn Rivers Toy Drive for many years and he is involved with the Salvation Army Christmas Toy Drive.
